J.O.IN. Orlando—Hosts an interactive discussion titled: The Joy of Jewish Holidays” at 8 a.m. Shacharis at Orlando Torah Center, 8591 Banyan Blvd., Orlando. Breakfast included.


Israeli Folk Dancing—7-7:30 p.m. beginners, 7:30-8:15 p.m. instruction, 8:15-10 p.m., requests. Cost: Free for JCC members, $5 nonmembers. Info: 407-645-5933.


Torah & Tea—Women’s study group meeting weekly from 9:30—10:30 a.m. in the Conference Room at the Chabad Center of Jewish Life, 7347 W. Sand Lake Road, Orlando. The group is open to all women. Admission is free and no previous Jewish education is required.

Kinneret Apartments—Zei Gezunt—Be Healthy! Program 11:45 a.m. a program to ensure that ongoing health and wellness of the elderly is addressed through programs to educate, diet and exercise.

Zionistas—Present Cathy Swerdlow who will speak on “Ten Things You Don’t Know About Israel.” 7 p.m. at Temple Israel in Winter Springs. This program is open to the entire community at no cost. Donations are always appreciated. Info: Sandi Solomon, 407-831-0176.


The Jewish Pavilion—Grief Support Group for people who have lost spouses, children, parents or loved ones, 10:30 a.m.—noon. Led by Rabbi Maurice Kaprow at Oakmonte Village, 1021 Royal Gardens Cir., Lake Mary, Fla. Refreshments will be served. There is no cost for the program. The Roth Family JCC—The Essential Oils Experience series. Detoxing Your Home and natural DIY products, 11 a.m.- noon. Make an all-natural Thieves counter top spray that even the kids can use. Learn how to make your own nontoxic DIY products to use throughout your home, such as bug spray, skin soother spray and more. JFS Orlando—In cooperation with Congregation Beth Am and the Hospice of the Comforter, presents Evening Grief Support Series, 7 p.m.—9 p.m. at Congregation Beth Am, 3899 Sand Lake Rd., Longwood.
