'Here Comes the Sun!' Jewish Pavilion volunteers and Board members (l-r), Geanne Share, Debbie Meitin, Larry Gutter, Terry Fine Stenzler and Paul Stenzler, take in a beautiful day of food, fun and music at 'Sunday in the Park.'

Two weeks before the rest of the country begins daylight savings time, The Jewish Pavilion turned the clock way back to the 1960s, bringing the community together with their new fall festival, Sunday in the Park. More than 400 members of the community got their groove on Sunday, Oct. 23, at Sunday in the Park at Crane's Roost Park in Uptown Altamonte, raising funds for Orlando's elder community while enjoying the Fall Fest featuring Beatle's tribute band, The British Invasion (formerly of Epcot).

Tie-dyed shirts and peace signs abounded, as guests of all ages rocked out to the "fabricated" four. Pint-sized singers from the Jewish Academy of Orlando rounded out the day's entertainment with spirited renditions of three Beatles' songs, ending on an appropriate note with, "You Say Hello, I Say Goodbye." First time attendee and vendor, Justin Levine, store manager of Altamonte TD Bank, said, "It was a perfect day of sunshine to spend with the community, celebrating the generations with just the right kind of music that 'moved' guests of all ages."

Event Chair Jane Edelstein commented, "Throughout the year, The Jewish Pavilion brings smiles and engaging programs to residents in more than 70 senior living communities throughout Orlando. Once a year we host a fun communitywide event to bring attention to this growing population. Thank you to our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, staff, and the Jewish Academy singers who worked a 'Hard Day's Night' to make our event a successful one."
