Adam Sheer, age 23, of Orlando, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016. Born on Aug. 19, 1993, in Baltimore, Maryland, he was one of three children born to Jeffrey A. and Karen Lynn Markowitz Sheer.

The family relocated to the Orlando area when he was a child and he attended school locally, earning his associates degree. As a youngster and young adult, Adam was very involved with the youth programs at Chabad of South Orlando.

In addition to his parents, Adam is survived by his brother, Justin of Washington, D.C., and his sister, Jamie of Tampa. He is also survived by his grandparents, Jacob and Laverne Markowitz; and his aunt and uncle, Diane and Jeff Lininger, all of Maryland.

A graveside service was held at Temple Israel Cemetery, Gotha, with Rabbi Yosef Konikov officiating. In memory of Adam Daniel Sheer, the family requests contributions to Chabad of South Orlando, 7347 W. Sand Lake Road, Orlando 32819; http://www.jewishorlando.com .
