Robert C. Klein, age 73, of Maitland, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2017, at VITAS at Orlando Lutheran Towers. Born in New York City on May 23, 1943, he was the son of the late David and Sylvia Weiser Klein. A college graduate, he came to the Orlando area some 35 years ago from Michigan and worked as a scenic set designer and painter for Walt Disney World.

He was predeceased by his wife, Florence, in 2009. He is survived by his sons, Josh of Michigan and Benjamin of Maitland; his daughters, Yael of Maitland, Darcy (Michael) Banks of Denver, and Cheryl of Michigan. He is also survived by his granddaughters, Liliana and Olivia; his brother-in-law Dr. Nathan (Cindy) Kaufman of New Jersey and his mother-in-law, Tamara Kaufman of Tampa.

A graveside service was held at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Arnold Siegel officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel. 640 Lee Road, Orlando 32810.
