Esther (Ester) Arnon, age 90, of Great Neck, New York, passed away on Nov. 29, 2018, at Hospice of the Comforter in Altamonte Springs. She was born in Iran on Nov. 23, 1928, to the late Baruch Karbassi and Shoshana Salimpoor Karbassi. A homemaker, she was the mother of Harry (Karen) Arnon of Longwood and Joseph (Homa) Arnon of Longwood. She was also the mother of Mahin (Albert) Abizadeh of Long Island and Rita Bar-Or of New York City. Esther was privileged to be the grandmother of eleven and great-grandmother of thirteen. She is also survived by her sister Nosrat of Orlando and was predeceased by another sister, Naomi.
