Central Florida's Independent Jewish Voice

Citrus Club happy hour will benefit Jewish Pavilion

Join other Orlando professionals after work on Monday, June 3, at the Citrus Club downtown for Central Florida Connects, a relaxed networking and social event in an opulent setting. Enjoy heavy hors d'oeuvres and a drink in a fun and friendly atmosphere for a $15 donation, with all proceeds benefitting the Jewish Pavilion. Guests can also participate in a whiskey tasting and a raffle with high-appeal prizes such as Orlando City tickets, concert tickets, hotel stays and great wines.

The event is being hosted by the Citrus Club Leadership Alliance, a board group of emerging leaders within the Citrus Club. Jewish Pavilion board member Carina Gerscovitch is spearheading the event, in partnership with the Jewish Chamber of Commerce, an Orlando-area networking group. Although the name of the event has changed from previous years, it has been a highly popular and successful party for the past two years under Gerscovitch's leadership and attracts a large and diverse crowd, making for a lively evening.

The June 3 event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Parking in the Citrus Club's garage is free after 5:30 p.m. If you won't already be near downtown, a great and hassle-free option is to take SunRail to the Church Street station; the Citrus Club, at 255 S. Orange Ave., is a 4-minute walk from the station.

Presale tickets are $15, or $10 for Citrus Club members, and are available online at JewishPavilion.org/central-florida-connects. Tickets will also be available at the door for $20. All proceeds from the event will support the Jewish Pavilion's mission of connecting eldercare community residents and their families with a caring Jewish community that provides life-enhancing resources and experiences.
