August 2, 2019

Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando is pleased to welcome its new executive director, Philip Flynn. He brings to JFS more than 35 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations. His career has engaged international medical programs, higher education, religious organizations and animal sanctuaries—nonprofits small and large. He has presented internationally as a motivational speaker for non-profit professionals, lectured extensively on revenue enhancement program development and is sought after for macro organizational reviews throughout the United States.

Flynn was carefully selected by the JFS Board of Directors after a several-month national search. He assumed his role as the new JFS executive director on Monday, July 22, 2019.

“I am honored to be a part of JFS Orlando” said Flynn. “I look forward to engaging with those we serve and building a stronger, vital service organization.”

JFS looks forward to growing under Flynn’s new leadership, while continuing to serve individuals and families in need in the Greater Orlando community.

Established in 1978 as a non-profit human service agency, Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando provides social programs and services to children and families of all faiths in the Central Florida community. JFS supports efforts to prevent hunger and homelessness as well as providing counseling to those in need.
