Tamara Kaufman, age 90, of Charlevoix, Michigan, passed away peacefully at Hiland Cottage/McLaren Hospital Hospice in Petosky, Mich., on Jan. 8, 2020. Mrs. Kaufman was born in Korestan, Russian, to the late Meyer and Sonia Shirman Drianksi, on June 14, 1929.

Mrs. Kaufman was a homemaker and the widow of the late Famuel Kaufman who passed away in 2012. Residents of Williamsburg, they were among the earliest members of Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation. Following Mr. Kaufman’s death, she relocated to Michigan to be closer to her family.

Mrs. Kaufman is survived by her son Nathan (Cindy) Kaufman of Charlevoix, Mich. And her grandchildren—Isaac, Jacob, Daniel, Michael, Jordan, Benjamin and Yael; and her great-grandchildren—Zoe, Samuel, Maya, Joseph and Sloan.

Graveside funeral services and burial were held at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Arnold Siegel of Jewish Family Services officiating.
