Stanley Shevitz, age 74, of Altamonte Springs, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2020, at AdventHealth-Altamonte. A Brooklyn native, he was born on Jan. 17,1946, the son of the late Milton and Celia Dorf Shevitz. Stanley was a high school graduate and worked, among other places, in his family’s floor-covering business.

On May 27, 1999, at Congregation Ohev Shalom, he married the former Susan Beth Zivin, his wife of over 20 years, who survives him.

In addition to his wife, Stanley is survived by his sister Bernice Gaiptman; his brother-in-law Robert Zivin, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
