Michael Stuart Bernstein, 66, of Altamonte Springs, passed away Saturday, Feb. 29, 2020. Michael was born in Little Neck, N.Y., on Jan. 25, 1954, to the late Charles and Roberta Bernstein.
Michael graduated from the University of Florida and was an avid Gator fan. He also “bled orange and blue” for his beloved N.Y. Mets. He had a successful career in insurance, including the family business he established, which is now run by his children.
Michael is survived by his wife, Heddy Bernstein of 41 years; his children, Felicia (Isaac) Greenberg and Marc (Ashley) Bernstein; his sister, Cindy Scottland; his grandchildren—Avery, Noah, Addison and Asher; and his loving extended family and friends.
Funeral services were held in the Pavilion at Ohev Shalom Cemetery, with Rabbi Mendy Bronstein of Chabad of Altamonte Springs officiating. Interment followed in the cemetery.
