Washington State's Marilyn Strickland supports Mideast ally Israel, warns of Iran threat

(JNS) Marilyn Strickland, the former Democratic mayor of Tacoma, Wash., easily won over her Democratic opponent, Washington state Rep. Beth Doglio, in the Nov. 3 U.S. House of Representatives election in the state’s 10th Congressional District to succeed Democratic Rep. Denny Heck, who successfully ran to become the state’s lieutenant governor.
