Mrs. Lauren Ellen Shaeffer-Vandivier, 63, of Orlando died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, at Cornerstone Hospice, following a brief illness. Mrs. Schaeffer-Vandivier was born on Jan. 19, 1948, in Philadelphia, Penn., to Jeanne Singer Schaeffer and the late Jerome Schaeffer, and moved to the Orlando area in 2007 from Coral Springs, Fla. She retired from the Orange County School Board as a curriculum specialist.

Mrs. Schaeffer-Vandivier is survived by Robert Vandivier of Orlando, her husband of seven years; her daughters, Alexa (Jon) Miller of Ocoee and Samantha (Chad) Bryant of Margate, Fla .; her son, Dylan (Nicole Martinez) Schaeffer-Foley of Orlando; her brother, Ronald (Judy) Schaeffer of Boynton Beach, Fla .; and her mother, Jeanne Singer Schaeffer of Coconut Creek, Fla.

Funeral services for Mrs. Schaeffer-Vandivier were held in the Pavilion of Temple Israel Cemetery, Gotha. Interment followed in Congregation of Reform Judaism cemetery.
