The Rosen JCC is home to all Jews

With Rosh Hashanah approaching, the Rosen JCC is excited to update the community on what we believe will be a very busy year ahead. The Hebrew word "shanah" means "year," but is also the root for the Hebrew word for "change." As we look internally to what changes are we willing to consider in our words and actions, the Rosen JCC is excited to launch a new initiative to change the perspective of Jewish families not yet connected to the community. Called "Makom" (Hebrew for "home"), we want the JCC to be a Jewish home - a destination - for those Jews who are unaffiliated, and have not felt welcomed by the organized community. Whether you are in an interfaith marriage, LGBTQ, or just searching, our monthly Friday night Shabbat dinners at the JCC can be the start of something new. For more information contact Dara Shapiro at: daras@rosenjcc.org

The Rosen JCC after-school program is here for you. We have the enrichments of soccer, ballet, karate, homework assistance and a snack for your child. For more information, contact Alexf@rosenjcc.org

Do you know someone with mild cognitive impairment or early onset dementia? The Brain Fitness Academy is here for you. Now in its third year, our program meets twice a week from 9:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays at the Dr. Phillips Y, starting Sept. 19. For more information, contact Dr. Reuben Romirowsky, CEO at reubenr@rosenjcc.org

We hope the year ahead is a year of positive change, renewal, and health!
