The future of healthcare, designed by Israel, May 9 at 7 p.m. Special guest Professor Itai Pessah, director of the Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital at Sheba Medical Center will discuss the work of Safra Children's Hospital and Sheba's critical care for wounded IDF soldiers. Refreshments served and dietary laws observed.

Can We Talk? JBall 2023

Celebrate the best of Jewish Life in Central Florida, explore the programs at the J, discover ones you may not know about and join the conversation about the future of Shalom Orlando at the annual Roth Family JCC JBall on May 17, from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. at the Orlando Science Center, 777 E. Princeton St., Orlando. Mary Rowland will be presented the Harriet Weiss Legacy Award in recognition of her 50 years of service. There is free parking and babysitting. The Pool Party

On May 21, from noon to 4 p.m. enjoy Tikkun Ha Yam: Repair the Sea at the Roth Family JCC pool. This unique immersive experience offers the opportunity to discover SCUBA, Water Torah from Rabbi Ed Rosenthal, and learn how to make changes in our lives to improve the sea and Earth.
