Jewish Chamber spends a day with Rosie's Adventures

Children and adults have fun at a gathering of Jewish Chamber and Rosie's Adventures members.

Food and fun we're on the agenda when the Jewish chamber partnered with Rosie's Adventures for an afternoon of arts and crafts at Shalom Orlando. Adults and children of all ages gathered to put together care packages and decorations for children fighting cancer. Everyone in attendance brought gifts for the children that will go into gift bags to be distributed by Rosie's Adventures.

Nicki Rodriguez founded the charity a year ago after her daughter passed away from childhood cancer. Rosie's Adventures' mission is to help children with cancer and their families make as many fun memories together as possible. From fun adventures with first responders, to care packages when a child is admitted in the hospital, to photo shoots, to fun events, to hospital and family support, they bring as much joy and comfort as they can to children battling cancer and their families.

The Jewish chamber event was chaired by Michael and Cindy Brown.
