Francine Fox, founder of Think of Me Please® wanted to express her gratitude to Dr. Layish for his dedication and contributions to the organization. She hosted a surprise luncheon for him at his practice in Altamonte Springs and presented him a plaque proclaiming Aug. 17, 2023 "Dr. Dan Layish Day." His wife, Staci, the staff, doctors and some of the Think of Me Please board members participated in the surprise luncheon, which was catered by Chef Alex Jones (www.chefalexjones.com).
Founded in 2019, Think of Me Please® is an organization focused on promoting public awareness through education related to the needs of patients whose health is compromised either through illnesses or treatments.
"Think of Me Please, Inc., would not be where we are today without his unconditional support," said Fox. "When Dr. Layish accepted the position on our board as medical advisor, I was unaware of exactly what that would entail. He continues to engage us with the right audiences and secured our first corporate donor, she added. With a heart of gold, Dr. Layish has exemplified the essence of generosity, kindness and determination. His professional excellence and steadfast support have nurtured our organization's growth and fortified our mission to create a better world for the immunocompromised communities we serve."
