Obituary - DR. RONALD S. POSNER

Dr. Ronald S. Posner was born Feb. 22, 1943, in Burbank, CA, as the oldest of three boys born to Abraham Posner and Rose Block.

He is survived by his wife, Jill; his two brothers, Fred and Harris; his two sons, Donny and Jonathan (Tricia); his two daughters, Allison (Eli Bolin) and Meredith (Matt Schuh); and six grandchildren - Jacob, Mila, Walter, Harry, Carter and Amelia.

Dr. Posner received his education at UCLA in Los Angeles, earning a Ph.D. in electrical engineering. He moved to Burlington, MA, to work for Raytheon and met his wife, Jill, at Microwave Associates in Burlington; they married in 1981. Ron was the president and CEO of Ocala's Antennas For Communications and traveled extensively for business and pleasure. Ron loved visiting his grandchildren on both coasts, work, sci-fi, sailing, a good meal, and single malt scotch.

Funeral Services for Dr. Posner were held in the Burton & Barbara Chasnov Pavilion at Ohev Shalom Cemetery (6034 Old Winter Garden Road) with Rabbi David Kay officiating. 

May he rest in peace and may his memory always be a blessing.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name are welcomed at the Ocala Civic Theater or the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
