As Gazans passed through the humanitarian corridor from Khan Younis, many were heard yelling “down with Hamas,” potentially signaling growing discontent with the Iran-backed terror group’s command over Gaza.

IDF Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced that a humanitarian corridor has been established in a Bedouin area Al-Mawasi to protect Gazan civilians from the IDF military operations in Khan Younis.

While tens of thousands were evacuating the area, many were heard yelling slogans against Hamas.

“The people want to topple Hamas,” and other chants can be heard among the Palestinians as they evacuate the area.

Adraee also pointed out that IDF soldiers were assisting children, the sick and elderly evacuate while civilians complained that Hamas was preventing them from leaving combat areas.

Also, Outside Deir al-Balah’s Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, women and children were seen holding up pieces of paper saying, “Yes to giving back the prisoners,” and expressed a desire to return to homes in Jabaliya and Beit Lahiya, in the northern Gaza Strip.

A day earlier Gazans protested against Hamas in Rafah, located in Southern Gaza.

They criticized Yahya Sinwar, the mastermind behind the October 7th attacks that killed 1,200 and left 240 as hostages in Gaza.

Major-General Rasan Aliyan said, “In recent days, we see more and more evidence of public criticism voiced by the residents of Gaza against the terrorist organization Hamas.”

He added, “The residents of the Gaza Strip rightly prefer their well-being and the safety of their children over the continued military strengthening of Hamas and the terrorist activities that harm them and their future.”

The Hamas terror organization has nearly exhausted its arsenal of rockets, with only a few hundred rockets still available, the IDF now believes.

The Israeli military has destroyed most of the remaining rocket stockpile, leaving behind only a few hundred rockets, according to a report in Israel Hayom based on estimates from the IDF.
