It is with great sadness that the matriarch of the Sklon family, Myra Charlotte Zucker Sklon of Fern Park Florida died on Jan. 29, 2024. Myra turned 97 on Jan. 11, 2024. She is preceded by her parents William and Fanny Zucker and her husband Irwin (Curly) Sklon, who died on Sept. 6, 1990.

She is survived by a multigenerational family of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her very special friend Jayne Horowitz Sklon.

Myra resided in Linden, N.J., most of her life until she moved to Florida then to Arizona and back to Florida.

She loved music (classical and opera), the theater, movies, travels and was an avid reader and never gave up on being a New York Jets fan. Myra also volunteered with the Red Cross and the Retired Service Volunteer Program in both New Jersey and Florida.

Her favorite charities are St. Jude and the North Shore Animal League in Port Washington, N.Y.

Local arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 933 Lee Road, Suite 101, Orlando, Florida 407-599-1180.
