Rosen Event Center becomes the Pargh Event Center

Philanthropist Andy Pargh, known to many as The Gadget Guru, has donated a $1 million gift to the Jack & Lee Rosen JCC's event center. Previously known as the Rosen Event Center, it is now the Pargh Event Center.

"This gift is more than generous. It is deeply meaningful. It reflects Mr. Pargh's enduring commitment to Jewish values, his family's legacy of giving and his belief in the power of shared experiences to bring people together," Rosen JCC CEO Ofira Bondorowsky stated in a press release to the southwest Orlando community.

"This recognition is especially meaningful as it continues the legacy of giving instilled in me by my parents, who supported countless Jewish and humanitarian causes throughout their lives. With this gift, I'm proud to help transform the Pargh Event Center into a vibrant space for celebrations, cultural programming and community engagement serving as a true home for the arts in Southwest Orlando," Pargh said.

The Pargh Event Center, with theater-style seating for 600 and banquet space for over 350 guests, will be able to expand its performing and visual arts programming, build new partnerships and deepen its impact across all generations.

"This moment represents more than a name change it's a bold step forward. We are so grateful to Mr. Pargh for believing in our mission and helping us build a home where arts, culture and community come together. The best is truly yet to come," Bondorowsky stated.

"I applaud Andy Pargh's deep commitment to the community and his support of the Rosen JCC," said Frank Santos, president & CEO of Rosen Hotels & Resorts. "His generous contribution not only builds on the vision and legacy of Harris Rosen, it also celebrates the future. It exemplifies what's possible when purpose and philanthropy unite to create a meaningful, lasting impact for generations to come. We are proud to support the Rosen JCC's inspiring work and its expanding role in advancing arts and culture throughout Southwest Orlando."
