As we welcome Rosh Hashanah and the start of 5786, we enter a season of reflection, renewal, and hope. This is a time to look back with gratitude for the stories we have preserved and shared, and to look forward with determination to continue our work for a more compassionate and just world. At the Holocaust Memorial Resource & Education Center of Florida, we are dedicated to honoring the Holocaust's legacy by amplifying the voices of those who lived through it. These stories are not only history but also urgent lessons for our time. They speak to the dangers of prejudice, the necessity of combatting antisemitism, and the importance of reaffirming the humanity and dignity of Florida's Jewish communities in these troubling times. Every program, exhibition, and educational initiative we offer is designed to deepen understanding, foster empathy, and inspire action. Together, we can ensure that future generations not only remember what happened but also feel a responsibility to stand up against hatred in all its forms. As this new year begins, may we all find the strength to build bridges of understanding, the wisdom to learn from the past, and the courage to shape a brighter future. Shana Tova U'Metuka.
