HERBERT D. MANELOVEG
Herbert D. Maneloveg died peacefully, on Feb. 2, 2026, one week after celebrating his 101st birthday. He was a renowned media and marketing advertising executive, beloved husband, father and grandfather and a friend to all. Born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania he served in World War II as an Army private at the Battle of the Bulge, suffering a shrapnel injury and was awarded the purple heart.
He completed college upon his return and then moved to New York to begin his career in advertising. There he met and married the love of his life, Gloria, who unfortunately preceded him in death by 20 years. They moved to White Plains, New York to raise their family and then to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida to enjoy their retirement. Most recently Herbert lived at Oakmonte Village (now Grand Living Park of Lake Mary) where he enjoyed playing bridge, going to the theater, writing and running a current event class.
He is survived by his children: Susan (Rubin), Thomas Maneloveg and Harriet (Langer) and his seven grandchildren: Bradley, Adam, Rachel, Daniel, Abby, Hannah and Margaret. He led a remarkable life and will be greatly missed.
Graveside Inurnment for Mr. Maneloveg was held at Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches (9321 Memorial Park Rd, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33412). May he rest in peace and may his memory always be a blessing.
At the family's request donations are being taken at the Jewish Pavilion of Altamonte Springs (http://jewishpavilion.org) which provides senior services including Jewish religious services at facilities throughout central Florida which he attended regularly.
