Born in New York on May 24, 1921, she was one of two daughters born to the late Joseph and Rebecca Malowitz Spring and was the widow of the late Meyer Goldberg, who passed away in 2009. A high school graduate, during her working career she was a retail salesperson. A native of Sandersville, Georgia, she was born on Dec. 3, 1928, to the late Phillip and Sonia Volk Goodrich. She attended college and owned and operated retail clothing stores. Mrs. Micohen was born on March 11, 1926, in Portland, Maine, one of three children born to the late Abram and Ida Goberman Berenson.
