Disaster Preparedness workshop—Congregation Beth Am hosts this program from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m., immediately following a congregational Open House for prospective members, starting at 10 a.m. Steven Lerner from the Emergency Response Team will discuss hurricane and fire preparedness.

Learn Hebrew—Enroll in summer classes and learn to read Hebrew offered by Chabad Lubavitch of North Orlando, 7:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at 39 Skyline Dr., Suite 1017 in Lake Mary. This is a 10-week course, taught by Akiva Anderson. Cost $36, which covers all textbooks. The course is targeted for beginners and those who wish to brush up on their reading.
