Ramola “Bo” Bander, age 88, of Fern Park, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016, at The Commons at Orlando Lutheran Towers. “Bo”, a native of Providence, Rhode Island, was born on Nov. 11, 1927, to the late Harry and Alma Gederman Diamond. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper in the insurance industry.

In 1979, Bo and her late husband, Herbert, who predeceased her in 2002, relocated to the Orlando area and have been affiliated for many years with Congregation Ahavas Yisrael.

Mrs. Bander is survived by her sons, Peter Bander and Michael Bander of Fern Park, and Efraim Bander of Brooklyn, New York; and her daughter, Mindy Bander-Habib of Winter Springs. She is also survived by her sister, Leslie of New Jersey; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jeffrey Bander Jr. in 1998.

A graveside service was held at Congregation Ohev Shalom Cemetery with Rabbi Sholom Dubov officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 640 Lee Road, Orlando 32810.
