Malka Brenner Webman passed away on Sept. 23, 2021. She was the devoted and loving wife of Neil Webman, mother of Ed Webman (Marcia Tabak), Debra Webman (Jim Clark), and Lisa Webman Medin (Mark Medin), grandmother of Drew Winter, Joseph Webman, Alexa Rifkin (Zach Rifkin), Rachel Medin (Gil Chen-Zion), Danielle Medin and Adam Webman. She was predeceased by her parents Max and Rebecca Brenner and her brother Macy Brenner (Goldy Brenner). Malka had a sharp wit and could be formidable. She was a voracious reader, a life-long student, an ardent supporter of the arts, a Gator & Magic fan, and a businesswoman. She enjoyed seeing her friends at bridge, book club, and mahjongg and loved sharing regular dinners with family and friends.

Malka was born in New York, N.Y., and moved to Orlando when she was 10 years old and always thought it was a special place. Malka attended Cherokee Jr. High and graduated from Orlando High School, (in the last class of OHS in 1952). She started college at the University of Missouri, and then transferred to the University of Florida, to be closer to her boyfriend, Neil, whom she later married in 1954, at the Sky Room of the Angebilt Hotel. She graduated with high honors from UF with a degree in English and then taught at Edgewater High School. After the birth of her children, she joined her family's business, Brenner's Dress Shop. Malka took pride in dressing generations of brides during her years at Brenner's, retiring in 1997. Malka and Neil had a great marriage and partnership, and when they retired, they embarked on exploring the world. They traveled far and wide, attending family celebrations, summering in the Berkshires, and visiting sites in all 50 states. International travel also intrigued them: hiking in the Canadian Rockies, safari in the Masai Mara, New Year's in Hong Kong, exploring Machu Pichu, the temples of Katmandu, traversing India from the Taj to Auroville, the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, the Alps of New Zealand, and starkness of Antarctica as well as countless trips to Israel to see family. They were able to visit all seven continents and enjoyed a good meal at each stop.

Malka enjoyed many places and many things, but her favorite things, were her people.

Private family services and burial were held at Temple Israel Cemetery.
