Kira Spress, 40 years old of Orlando, Florida passed away in her sleep on June 26, 2023, at home. Kira was born in Denver, Colorado, and later relocated to Nebraska and lived on a raspberry farm with her mother, father and her newborn sister, Adene Rae Duncan.
Kira and her family later moved to Golden, Colorado, where Kira’s mother, Brenda Strange, and step-dad, Joseph Applegate, had another child, Tawny Michelle Applegate.
Kira was the third child born to Brenda Strange, from her mother’s first marriage. She had two sisters, Dawn and Chrissa Arthurs.
Kira was married by her sister Chrissa Arthurs in Polk City, Florida, to her husband, Kenneth Spress.
Kira Spress is survived by her family and friends — Brynn Graham (Mat), and Leesa Haney (Charles), Keith Brewer (Tiffany), and Lloyd Sears (Misty); she also is survived by her three fur–babies — The Queen Princess Diva Pebbles, Maggie (Cricket) and Mr. Moe (Moester).
She will also be remembered by her work family at Universal Studios Orlando where she was a proud member of Team Quality Assurance and Training.
A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Spress will be held Sunday, Aug. 13, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Beth Shalom Memorial Chapel, 835 Lee Road, Orlando, Florida, with family and friends celebrating her life. May she rest in peace and may her memory always be a blessing.
