Michael was born in Little Neck, N.Y., on Jan. 25, 1954, to the late Charles and Roberta Bernstein. Michael graduated from the University of Florida and was an avid Gator fan. Dr. Jonathan Ben Rodin, age 53, of Rockledge, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at the Dr. Jay Pillai Center for Hospice at Wasdin Woods in Rockledge, surrounded by his family. (JNS)—A member of the advisory council for Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei died of coronavirus on Monday, reported Iranian state radio. Iranian Expediency Council member Mohammad Mirmohammadi is the first top official in the Islamic Republic to die as a result of complications from the virus. (JNS)—In what is being dubbed as a historical development, Israel’s Transportation Ministry announced this week that it is moving forward with plans to extend the new Tel Aviv-Jerusalem high-speed rail line in order to connect Ben-Gurion International Airport directly to the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
