Sylvia Fried, age 94, of Altamonte Springs, passed away at Hospice of the Comforter on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on Jan. 29, 1921, to the late Israel and Anna Schneider Bubes, she was a homemaker and the widow of the late Joseph Fried, who passed away in 2005.

Mr. and Mrs. Fried relocated to the Orlando area from Brooklyn in 1976. She was a member of Hadassah and B’nai Brith Women.
