Elizabeth Mack, age 79, of Orlando, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015, at her residence. She was born on June, 26, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Louis and Bessie Brickman Weintrop. A homemaker, she married William Mack, who survives her, in St. Louis, on Jan. 22, 1960. They relocated to the Orlando area in 1983 and have been long-time members of Southwest Orlando Jewish Congregation. Betty Diana Stein, age 89, of Orlando, passed away on April 1, 2015, at Florida Hospital—Celebration Health. Mrs. Stein was born in Boston, Mass., on July 18, 1925, to the late Harry Finberg and Dora Feinberg Finberg. She was one of five siblings—all creative musicians and artists. Mr. Stolper was born in Queens, New York, on May 27, 1945, to the late Bernard and Ruth Armel Stolper. A combination Purim party and 95th birthday celebration were held last week at the Sutton Home in Dr. Phillips where retired Rabbi Rudolph Adler resides. Oscar Miller of Orlando, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at his residence. He was 83 years old. Mr. Miller was born to the late Israel and Fannie Lichtman on Nov. 29, 1931, in Bronx, New York. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Mildred T. Sokolow passed away peacefully in Tallahassee, Fla., on Jan. 31, 2015, with her son, Gary, daughter-in-law, Wendy, and grandson, Andrew, at her bedside. She was 87 years old. Mrs. Sokolow went to join her husband, David, and daughter, Cheryl, under the sheltering wings of the All Merciful. She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and hospitality.
