Mrs. Berg was born in Detroit, Michigan, on Nov. 14, 1913, one of four daughters, to the late Isaac and Rachel Siegal Ross. She was a high school graduate and was able to attend two years of college before having to leave and help her family during the Depression.     (JTA)—Ron Moody, a British Jewish actor best known for playing a character historically considered an anti-Semitic stereotype, has died at 91. Moody, who played the Jewish criminal Fagin in the stage and film versions of “Oliver,” an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ “Oliver Twist,” died on Thursday. His film portrayal of Fagin garnered an Oscar nomination and Golden Globe award as best actor.
