The 8 Over 80 Honorary Dinner on March 5, sponsored by Kinneret Council on Aging, is to be a lovely affair, with eight octogenarians showing the community what it is to create a legacy of activism, philanthropy, and leadership. After careful deliberations, the Orlando Chapter of Hadassah chose five members to be honored at its annual Awards Brunch on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Hilton Hotel in Altamonte Springs. Jordan Schilit, 22, of Tampa, and grandson of Edith and Charles Schulman of Winter Springs, was asked back to once again participate in the 2013 Maccabia Games.
