A new, cutting-edge Hebrew reading crash course is taking the Jewish world by storm. The flashcard based language course developed by the Jewish Learning Institute, promises users that they can learn to read Hebrew in only five weeks if they follow the program. Monday, Jan. 16, was a very special day for the students at the Jewish Academy of Orlando. The students did not take the day off of school in commemoration of the birthday of the Rev. The Orlando Chapter of Hadassah recently hosted a cooking demonstration of healthy Thai food by chef and restaurateur Sue Manatad of Orchid Thai Cuisine Restaurant in Winter Park. Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando is providing onsite counseling for community members needing to discuss recent security concerns at the Maitland Jewish Campus. The Campus was evacuated twice after receiving bomb threats via telephone.
