    Share the Care (STC) is a non-profit organization specializing in adult day care and respite for frail, physically and cognitively impaired adults.   • CRJ brings special Torah to Orlando

    According to the Talmud, we are obligated to write our own Torah Scroll. This is considered the 613th Mitzvah. Later on, The Rambam writes that since the lack of one Torah letter causes a Torah Scroll to be invalid, this commandment can be fulfilled by writing a single letter of a completed scroll.   • Havdalah for the animals

    On Saturday night, Feb. 13, Temple Israel held a Havdalah service in honor of the members' four-legged friends. Under Jewish law, animals have some of the same rights as humans do. They rest on Shabbat; they are forbidden to be muzzled to prevent them from eating while working in the field, just like human workers who must be allowed to eat from the produce of their labor.
